Zest is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior MLOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. As a Senior MLOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our machine learning operations infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps team to ensure the smooth development, deployment, and operation of our machine learning models.

The Senior MLOps Engineer will:

- Design, build, and maintain the MLOps infrastructure to support the deployment and operation of machine learning models.

- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to implement and optimize machine learning pipelines.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model training, testing, and deployment.

- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and efficient model deployment.

- Utilize AWS services, including but not limited to, EKS, ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, EventBridge, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and MWAA, to build and manage the MLOps infrastructure.

- Work with JupyterHub and SageMaker to provide a collaborative and scalable environment for data scientists.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform to ensure reproducibility and scalability.

- Automate and streamline the build and deployment of workbench images and model hosting containers using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

- Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering DevOps team to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the MLOps infrastructure.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in MLOps and contribute to the continuous improvement of our MLOps practices.

We are looking for:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an MLOps Engineer or a similar role.

- Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECS Fargate, ECR, and CloudWatch.

- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with JupyterHub or SageMaker for collaborative and scalable data science environments.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for MLOps infrastructure.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when interacting with customers
