About the TeamThe Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along while driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other cutting edge technologies such SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ, CLM, Heroku as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO, Reltio and many others
About the Role
Workday Business Technology GTM is seeking a Sr Quality Assurance Manager for GTM Application team who will be managing a quality portfolio of the business solutions on the Salesforce ecosystem. You enjoy working closely with executives, business partners, program managers, development managers, and quality engineers to define, manage and monitor quality of our Salesforce implementations, including the appropriate Salesforce product and integrations.
In a delivery capacity, you will ensure high quality of releases for GTM. Sr. Manager for Quality collaborates with internal development teams, business users to define and execute quality strategy.
Develop and Implement strategy for a centrally managed quality function at Platform level
Manage QA Leads/Engineers working on multiple projects to develop and execute test plans for capabilities of GTM Products
Lead evaluation, selection and implementation of Tools to improve Quality: Test Management, Test Automation, Performance Testing, and Security
Lead process improvement and establishing standard methodologies for testing
Interact effectively with other teams, including Business Users, Program Management, Development and Application Support
Handle numerous projects/priorities using validated project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
Build business partner trust, respect and strong customer relationship
Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
Actively participate in talent acquisition, on-boarding and manage performance
Provide mentorship to other Workday employees on Salesforce development, architecture and strategies
- 15+ years of industry experience in leading quality for Enterprise Applications with at least 5 years of experience in management roles.
- 10+ years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation or Development
- Experience in defining quality metrics and monitoring progress against goals
- Experience with Salesforce ecosystem
Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong background working on complex applications built on Salesforce.com
Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal direction
Good interpersonal skills, as well as superb communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment
Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
Demonstrate self motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum specifically)
Experience building cross-functional relationships

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $170,500 - $256,000
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $138,300 - $256,000
