About the Team
Workday is growing rapidly across our product and market segments. In order to maintain our growth trajectory, it's critical that we constantly search for driving cross functional collaboration. Workday’s Corporate Strategy and Business Operations team works on high visibility projects and company wide operational topics in conjunction with business leaders across the organization. This team partners closely with Workday’s senior executive team to define, align on, and implement the company’s global Strategy and Business Operations.About the Role
Workday’s Business Operations team plays a pivotal role in connecting our strategy to execution and ensuring progress on our highest strategic priorities and long-term growth objectives in partnership with business and product leaders across the organization. You will play a highly visible role in building out scalable operations to drive Workday’s business planning practices. In this role, you will identify opportunities to improve and streamline our approach to ensure we are on track to achieve our growth goals.
About You
The successful candidate will have prior experience leading high visibility strategic and/or planning initiatives in a software setting, whether through work in Enterprise Planning & Performance, consulting, corporate strategy, or a business operations role at a technology company. Possess strong problem structuring skills and analytical competence, and be a clear communicator in delivering recommendations to senior executives. You enjoy cross functional work and leading work by influencing others.
The ideal applicant will also have experience working cross functionally with finance, GTM, and product & technology leaders. Experience working with SaaS applications, HRM, Financials, Planning, and enabling cloud computing services are an advantage.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years in Business Operations, Enterprise Planning, Strategic Finance in B2B SaaS and/or strategic consulting in Technology and Business Operations space
Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred.
Experience partnering with executives and other senior leaders to prioritize, scope and align key functional initiatives using data and analytical methods
Proven ability to advocate for Workday’s strategy, mission and culture while being respectful and adept to all stakeholders perspectives in driving cross functional work
Other Qualifications
Strong leadership skills and executive presence
Track record of successful delivery of company-critical, cross-functional projects with proven business impact
Comfort with ambiguity and drive to take on new challenges and responsibilities
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; strong interest in structuring complex problems and presenting well-supported solutions
Experience with SaaS and enterprise software products or services and business model

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
