About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding corporate strategist to partner directly with C-Level Leaders & Executive Committee members to help tackle the most important questions and challenges facing Workday. This is a highly visible role that will have extensive cross-functional interaction and partner to the ECOM team. Responsible for delivering critical initiatives, providing recommendations to senior executives, building, implementing, and leading the frameworks and processes necessary for critical strategic initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
Ability to influence leaders across different functional teams and very quickly establish credibility at the executive level while driving decisions to move forward.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented work environment and be aligned to the Workday culture and values.
Support the ongoing discovery and evolution of new or existing growth opportunities
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive opportunities in the software industry. Stay updated on industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Identify potential partnerships, Evaluate potential investments and provide strategic recommendations.
Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic initiatives. Monitor financial performance against strategic objectives and make necessary adjustments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate the strategy to all levels of the organization.
Other Qualifications
Minimum 7-10 years of experience working in a corporate strategy role, business development, or related roles, preferably in the software industry
Preferable to have a background in Management Consulting
High intellectual curiosity, superior organizational, communication, presentation, structured thinking and analytical skills
Results-oriented approach to drive end-to-end projects with complete, accurate and timely delivery of analyses and project objective
Strategic Thinking: evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities
Communications skills: ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
