About the Role
A Software Application Engineer designs, develops and debugs features using the Workday application development toolkit. As an experienced engineer and member of the team you provide mentoring and technical guidance for more junior teammates, provide leadership in maintaining technical standards as well as ownership for functional areas owned by the team.
- Transitioning US military Veteran or eligible member of the National Guard or Reserves.
- Cannot have been out of the military for longer than three years (exception is for those currently enrolled in a full-time educational program)
- Experience with object-oriented design and development experience in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, Workday XpressO
- Experience working with Test Driven Development practices
- Experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies
- 4-year degree in a computer related field or equivalent
- Must be a collaborative teammate with good oral and written communication skills
- Interact effectively with all feature development partners, including peers, Product Management and Quality Assurance
- Enjoy fast-paced development environment
Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $112,000 - $168,000
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $93,100 - $168,000
