About the Team

Workday’s Consulting teams are driven by a passion for our products and the success of our customers in implementing our outstanding solutions. We’re a diverse group of people, with an invaluable mix of experience and backgrounds, located across multiple locations within the region. We are often remote from one another but that doesn’t stop our sense of teamwork, supportiveness, and fun!
The Specialized Services team works on integrations for our Peakon Employee Voice, Workday Strategic Sourcing, and Adaptive Planning implementation projects. Our team provides technical expertise to efficiently guide customers on moving their data between various systems. It’s an exciting, fast-paced, and rewarding work environment!

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is creative, eager to learn, collaborative, and wants to have fun along the way. You’ll get the opportunity to learn and build technically while establishing relationships with our project teams, customers and our greater team.

As a member of the Specialized Technical Consulting team, you’ll play a key role in the deployment of technical system integrations. Our team specializes in integrations between Peakon Employee Voice, Workday Strategic Sourcing, and Adaptive Planning and customers' respective systems. As a technical consultant, you will use your skills to gather requirements, build technical solutions and ultimately deploy those integrations into production.

The Technical Consultant has knowledge of core design principles, common data modeling and patterns, project implementation methodology, and a successful track record of delivering. Typically, you’ll be working on multiple customer deployments and have an excellent deal of autonomy around how you run those different workloads each week.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with integration development or software development

  • In-depth understanding of APIs, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML and XSLT

  • Experience serving in technical, customer-facing roles responsible for gathering requirements and designing solutions.

  • Confirmed knowledge of software development process and testing practices

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply technologies to address business challenges.

  • A detailed problem solver, with a passion for delivering outstanding levels of Customer Service

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and technical skills quickly

  • Inventive and adaptable; comfortable working independently, utilizing a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy

  • Programming in any high level language, SQL scripts, and Java scripting


Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $89,800 - $134,700


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $85,300 - $168,600
