About the TeamSoftware Engineer (Applications): Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. About the Role:
Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA counterparts on functional design and analysis of requirements
Design and develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment
Create and maintain robust, efficient and maintainable code using an OO framework and class modeling
Create and maintain reliable automated tests
Troubleshoot customer reported issues
Mentor and learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge sharing, hackathons, etc
6+ years experience with Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service); UML is a plus
OO design and development experience in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, etc...
Experience designing/developing business applications, (knowledge of ERP systems, HR or Human Capital Management is a plus)
Strong working knowledge of design and analysis of software for performance
You feel the key to good object oriented development is strong design patterns
You believe applications should be usable and configurable
Must be a collaborative team player with good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with XML and Integration technologies is a plus
Working Knowledge of front end applications such as React or Angual is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $118,400 - $177,600
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $112,500 - $204,000
