The Program and Business Operations team works with stakeholders within BT and outside to define, align on, and implement the strategic programs and operations. The team is also responsible for standardizing program methodologies, tools and operations/metrics across the BT organization to provide a unified experience to business stakeholders and customers.
About the Role
You will develop, maintain and improve asset management governance, standards, procedures, plans, controls, and operating metrics to achieve operational objectives. You will identify opportunities for value realization and drive teams for adoption. You will evaluate current practices, collect information and industry trends, and create specifications to develop and implement process improvements. You will partner in procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization. You will also develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles. You will collaborate with finance teams to track IT expenses, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities. You will support financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes in the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for effective software asset management.
Establish and maintain processes to track software licenses, ensure compliance, and optimize software usage.
Collaborate with procurement to standardize and evolve software procurement processes.
Formulates and implements processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement.
Account for the IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization and affiliated companies.
Develop and conduct training as needed for use by department level staff to maintain inventory.
Report to senior management ITAM/life cycles and resolve conflicts.
Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes to support the asset management lifecycle.
Responsible for maintaining information about Configuration Items required to deliver IT services.
Be the liaison for the financial operations related to IT, including contract renewals, expense optimization, and budgeting.
Collaborate with finance teams to track IT expenses, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes

About You
Proven experience as an IT Asset Manager or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of IT asset management principles, best practices, and industry standards
Excellent understanding of budget planning and management
Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including hardware, networks, and data centers
Proficiency in using asset management tools and systems.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CMDB) are a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
