About the Team
Sr. Director, Digital Technology Experience is a new position within Business Technology (BT) organization focussing on redefining employee experience across all stages of employee lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for going beyond the existing and defining new ways of Work. As a transformation agent, you have a passion for technology, an eye for design and dedicated focus on experience. You are restless with the status quo and envision an ideal state where people engage and work in a streamlined environment. You harness process, systems and technology and fine tune them to anticipate needs and deliver an exhilarating experience. You are an authority in influence and will partner across BT and other functions within Workday to champion and promote change across process and technology to define and refine the way we work.About the Role
Expectations:
Champion vision and define strategic approach to deliver an industry-leading employee experience at Workday across our technology landscape
Partner with Employee Communications, Real Estate and Workplace Services, Privacy, and Security to realize “Future of Work” at Workday
Drive innovation to realize business value through data driven insights while delivering an end to end optimized and orchestrated digital experience
Direct oversight of efforts related to End User Services to drive high levels of operational excellence and Workmate experience
Own and influence technology roadmaps and align delivery efforts across Digital Experience & technology change enablement, End User Services, Site buildout services and Collaboration technology teams to drive end to end workmate experience
Align policy, process and capabilities to ensure the highest levels of service management, efficiency and agility to move the business forward
Build concepts and events to uphold the workplace as a center of gravity
Pilot Operating Council driving Digital Employee Experience
Responsible for program orchestration, sequencing and delivery of multi-faceted transformation initiatives, in line with schedule and budget
Identify, track and trend relevant metrics to improve Workmate experience, engagement and efficiency
Attract, hire, grow and retain top talent and is an advocate for Workday Values.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of a consistent record in enabling employee experience and leading technology delivery in large global organizations
5+ years in leadership experience leading large multi-functional teams
5+ years of experience driving transformation efforts and change in a fast growing organization
Other Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience leading across functions and becoming comfortable with ambiguity
Strong exposure to technology with proven grounding in leading, implementing IT Collaboration tool sets, Helpdesk, AV Systems and or business process improvements across critical application suites
Process champion with exposure and experience in six sigma and continuous process improvement methodologies
Strong program, project management skills and familiar with agile methodology
Proven presentation, and influencing skills with ability to cater communication to various levels of the organization

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
