About the Team
The Software Development Engineer in Test team for Workday Analytics is a diverse group of engineers. We spend our time writing software to break software and increase development productivity. At the core, we are responsible for the quality of the software that we ship, and we take pride in doing so. We build and scale our test infrastructure to match the growth of our product, keeping them fast, reliable, and robust, from end to end. We use proprietary and open-source automated testing tools to support our rapid and continuous development/test/deployment release cycles.We each bring a diverse set of skills to the team which makes our work meaningful and collaborative. About the Role
As part of this team, you will ensure that the quality of our products exceeds the expectations of our customers. Your expertise in automated testing of highly interactive web application and large-scale distributed systems will help transform the way we collect, view, and analyze enterprise data. The work we do is technical, challenging, and interesting. We are looking for test engineers who have a quality mindset, love to break software, automate testing and who want to understand how parts work together to make the Workday system function.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You are at the right place if playing around with data is your passion
You will be validating the various aspects of the data using high quality visualization and always ready to challenge the results
Own the end-to-end delivery of the feature starting from planning, execution, and automation
You will be working closely with highly skilled developers and designers
Be fearless in raising concerns when quality is not as expected
Testing and validating the application through back-end APIs
Develop automation test scripts using WATS, proprietary automation framework
Build and maintain framework and inventory of automated test suite
Primary point of contact for triaging automation failures and bring them to a resolution
Collect automation failure metrics, analyze root cause, and recommend corrective measures
Develop expertise in our product solutions, and use that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole

About You
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience as an SDET with automation experience in backend, API, or UI.
7+ years of programming experience with Java, Python, Scala, C, C#, or C++.
5+ years of work experience in multiple automation framework like TestNG, JUnit, Selenium, Typescript, Robot or pytest.
3+ years of work experience with CICD tools i.e., Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCity.
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
7+ years of experience in functional testing (Manual testing) and testing processes.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
