About the team + role

We're looking for a motivated self-starter to join our Clearing Operations team and focus on supporting our Corporate Actions department. You'll perform essential operational duties to process, reconcile, and allocate all corporate actions for the firm. This is a unique opportunity in a newly developed area and candidates will be responsible for helping to develop, design, and improve departmental processes and guidelines.

What you’ll do

  • Processes dividend and reorg allocations
  • Handle voluntary elections and allocations
  • Work with street counterparties, DTC, and other 3rd party vendors to gathering corporate action data
  • Manage day-to-day entries, adjustments, corrections directly in the brokerage platform
  • Manage and resolve escalated issues
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily work
  • Develop and maintain department procedures and guidelines
  • Implement process improvements within department

What you bring

  • 1 - 3 years experience in brokerage operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Corporate Action experience working in a financial services operational environment
  • FINRA SIE license
  • Strong self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environment

  • Series 7, 24
  • Database experience - SQL, python
  • Experience working at a fast-growing company
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams to create innovative ways to handle day to day processing

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
