About the team:

Robinhood is looking for a skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join and lead our rapidly growing Accounting team. The Senior Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for various aspects of General Ledger accounting including consolidation and oversees international accounting activities. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a good team-player and a leader. This position manages US positions and leads the international accounting contractors.

In this role, you will...

  • Coordinate the worldwide accounting close activities to ensure the consistency and accuracy of month end close under US GAAP, including maintaining the module closings in Oracle and other dependent system tasks.
  • Assist in establishing and publishing the Corporate Close calendar, monitoring the close timeline, acting as a liaison with international contractors to facilitate close
  • Assist with system issues identified and collobarate with Corporate Engineering and other teams in their resolution
  • Review journal entry workpapers and account reconciliations
  • Supervise consolidation, maintains consolidation rules in the system module and monitor the revaluation/translation process in Oracle
  • Set up best practice of intercompany transactions rules and coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT to implement the procedures
  • Establish and document Accounting SOP in managed areas
  • Work closely with external auditors on audit request and with internal audit on SOX testing
  • Support ERP set up projects including new ledger configuration, M&A GL migration and develop best practice for the team
  • Work with tax team to set up accounting process for cost plus/transfer pricing/revenue share among entities
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including legal, finance, Finops etc.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5-9 years of total experience in relevant account experience, significant exposure to consolidation and international accounting
  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience with system implementation (preferred)
  • Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in technical accounting matters and extensive experience in general accounting operations under US GAAP
  • Experience in developing and mentoring a team
  • Experience in Oracle is a plus

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
