Senior Education and Training Curriculum Developer

As the lead curriculum developer for Ridgeline’s newly formed Education and Training Services, you will uphold a critical pillar of Ridgeline’s Customer Success organization, ensuring our employees, partners, and customers are trained on Ridgeline’s multi-tenant, public cloud SaaS solution. You will help shape the vision of the Education Services function, building upon the foundation our team is creating. Your previous experience with content development, course management, course delivery, program management, and learning management systems will play a critical part in your day to day work and our education team’s success. A consultative approach, innovative mindset, and collaborative spirit will also be key as you make a meaningful impact on an industry primed for change. This role will report to either the Head of Expert Services or to the Head of Alliances within Ridgeline’s Customer Success organization.
What You’ll Do
- Build foundational capabilities for Ridgeline’s Education Services business including the learning and development roadmap, content development, and course management
- Partner with Ridgeline’s Customer Success teams (Alliances, Consulting, Expert Services) to design and deliver course content for Ridgeline Academy
- Work closely with Ridgeline TechPubs to create and manage multiple curriculums, including standardizing and organizing courses into modules, pillars, and personas
- Develop and organize course content in a SaaS based platform to modularize and monetize learning pathways
- Develop and apply expertise in the investment and asset management domain and all aspects of Ridgeline’s software to creating course content
- Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way

- Domestic travel possible up to 10-20% depending on location
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience building and growing an Education Services or curriculum development function
- Experience using SaaS based content development and learning management system (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Cantasia) for course design, delivery, and certification
- Understanding of enterprise SaaS implementation project and agile product life cycles
- Passion for delivering world-class training and interactive curriculum experiences
- Strong sense of ownerships and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance
- Innate curiosity and proven ability to learn new software technologies quickly
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities with a hands-on, pragmatic approach
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines at fast-paced start-up environment with an evolving platform
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and deepen relationships with internal and external customer stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, concisely, and confidently
- Familiarity with Google Apps, including strong Docs, Sheets/Excel and Slides/Powerpoint proficiency
- Comfortable working with Slack, Jira/Confluence, and professional services/customer success applications such as Kantata and Zendesk
- Serious interest in having fun at work

- Time spent as an implementation consultant at an asset management software vendor

Compensation and Benefits
[For New York and California Based Only]
The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $120,000 - $165,000 for individuals based in California. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
