Role Description

Jumpstart your career at Ridgeline! Ridgeline’s Early Career program is intended for those with less than 2 years of relevant work experience or for recent graduates from university or other continuing education programs. As a Ridgeline Professional Services Consultant on the Technical side, you’ll have a unique opportunity to join a world-class professional services team and work directly with customers implementing Ridgeline’s application suite. You’ll be working with customers across the United States in a virtual capacity and travel onsite to work directly in their offices in a fast-paced environment. As part of the team, you’ll support our system implementations as a Ridgeline product expert with a focus on migrating customer data, testing system configuration, building integrations to 3rd party applications, and supporting customers transitioning from legacy applications to Ridgeline. Along the way, you’ll work along-side our experienced consulting leaders and grow your professional and consulting skill set as the Ridgeline Professional Services team grows!

This position will report directly to the Director of Professional Services and is based in Reno, NV. At this time Ridgeline does not sponsor work visas.

What will you do?

• Learn Ridgeline’s Product Suite
• Learn the Investment Management Industry
• Learn about Ridgeline’s Software Development Lifecycle and Consulting Methodology
• Partner with our engineering and product management teams to optimize our overall client implementation experience
• Collaborate with our Professional Services team members to iteratively build the organization methodology and strategy
• Act as the single point of contact for your customers, getting your hands dirty with data conversion, integrations, and customer requirement gathering
• Maintain and leverage transformation and validation cloud tooling such as Flatfile and Workato to deliver high quality products to the customer
• Support clients as they go through upgrades and typical maintenance of the client lifecycle
• Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
• Evangelize Ridgeline’s technology and communicate the value to external stakeholders.
• Domestic travel expected 25%

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 years of work experience in an office environment preferred
• Relevant work experience and/or recent completion of a degree/program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field of study
• Demonstrable experience with Python or JavaScript
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical proficiency and an understanding of development lifecycles is a plus
• Serious interest in having fun at work
• Aptitude and ability for learning new technologies and technical skills quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Passion for customer service
• Ability to travel to customer site, when needed.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Google Apps
• Comfortable working with Slack, JIRA/Confluence, AWS, Github
• Understanding of Investment Management Industry and applicable applications
• Professional Customer Service experience
