What will you do?

• Partner closely with organizations across Ridgeline to understand our customer’s needs and translate them into our most important process: the production release
• Work with our Professional Services organization to support our upcoming go-lives and rigorous implementation schedules through management of key environments
• Build tools and processes to manage our AWS infrastructure as it grows alongside our company and customers
• Continually improve our testing pipelines to drive down regressions, increase velocity, and adopt new testing styles as our application matures
• Play a pivotal role in managing the relationships with AWS support and our technical account managers to ensure our configurations set us up for success
• Be a stakeholder in our change management process and other important compliance initiatives
• Bring innovative tooling ideas to streamline technical operations for effective release management and customer onboarding
• Grow our operational prowess by empowering teams to ship and monitor code through consistent tools and best practices

Required Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
• 2+ years experience in an operations role on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS operations team
• Hands-on console experience with AWS (CloudFormation, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Kafka, S3)
• Expertise in multiple CI/CD tools: CloudFormation, CodeBuild and CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate, Python, Node.js, Unix command line, shell scripting
• Experience using real-time monitoring and observability tools like DataDog
• A background in deploying and monitoring multi-tenanted SaaS architectures
• Understanding of Infrastructure management and monitoring
• Working knowledge of task automation to help teams manage complex environments at scale
• Operating within the requirements of a SOC2-compliant stack
• Knowledge of testing and deployment methodologies that enable an iterative/Agile approach to software development
• An ability to communicate cross-functionally with people of many disciplines

Nice-to-haves:

• AWS Certification(s) (SysOps Administrator/DevOps Engineer/Solutions Architect preferred)
• Experience with other core AWS offerings: Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, Athena, Route 53, CloudFront, Glue, VPC, SAR, IAM, Cognito)
• Background in Infrastructure as Code via Terraform
• Hands on experience automating with Bash and building tools with Python
• Experience in the Financial Services industry

Compensation and Benefits

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $160,000-$180,000 for individuals based in New York and California. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
