The Job At-A-Glance:
The IT Project Manager will provide project management oversight of ongoing IT and Applications Support projects. The IT Project Manager will be the primary planning and communication conduit for IT and support on several strategic initiatives. Outlining objectives, planning execution, and reporting on status are just a few of the functions involved in carrying out a successful program.

The ideal candidate is a proven technical operator that wants a role with a larger scope that can move the needle. From developing deep Q2 application knowledge, working on monitoring systems, learning how to leverage automation to drive efficiencies, and driving critical infrastructure, your opportunities to make a significant impact at Q2 are endless. Successful candidates will possess an innate desire to take on challenging problems and enjoy working cross functionally with members of Support, IT, Development and Implementations. The desire to help Q2 be the best and deliver industry leading solutions motivates you to solve complex problems while remaining cool under pressure.
A Typical Day:
Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.
Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.
Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
3+ years managing infrastructure projects.
Ability to effectively manage risks and issues.
Ability to work with various levels of technical and non-technical personnel.
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to operate effectively independently or in teams, making progress on tasks while dealing with potential process and project ambiguity.
