The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Culture & Community Coordinator, who will embody and help promote the Q2 culture internally and externally. Reporting directly to the Vice President, People & Community Development, this person’s main function will be to support culture strategies to ensure Q2’s culture remains authentic to the company’s mission and founding principles, which include a strong foundation in giving back to the communities and the Financial Institutions we serve. This focus will include building relationships internally with employees, as well as with community organizations in all our locations. The successful candidate will also collaborate with our internal and external resources to support and execute culture and community programs & events (virtual and in-person). This role is fast-paced and demands someone who can think on their feet while paying close attention to details.

    A Typical Day:

    • Support a culture strategy that emphasizes inclusion of all team members and represents the richness of global experiences

    • Support the Culture and Community programs with event (virtual and onsite) preparations, schedules, communications, vendor management, technologies, budgets and ad hoc project needs

    • Partner with the Belonging and Inclusion lead to provide assistance with employee resource group events (virtual and onsite), roadmap planning

    • Offer talent management and talent development teams administrative support with online training registrations including scheduling, roster management, etc.

    • Support implementation of Culture programs and management of supporting technology

    • Use community & volunteer engagement to provide impactful opportunities to our teams to give back to our communities, engage with one another and reinforce our culture

    • Partner with various teams across Q2 to achieve desired outcomes (Marketing, Business Operations, and others where appropriate)

    • Support RFPs, vendor management, timelines, budgets, site selection, event theme, pre-coordination, registration, budget management and execution support of culture events.

    • Complete post-event tasks including reconciliation of expenses, evaluation of event, and report out on meeting results; recommend improvements for future meetings

    • Optimize savings and expenditures to stay within or below budget; always use an approach including cost discipline and good judgment

    • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

    Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:

    • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.

    • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities

    • Experience supporting and implementing international culture and community strategies, including planning for and delivering activities & approaches to build and reinforce

    • Experience planning virtual and in-person events of varying sizes and goals in professional settings

    • Evidence of exceptional relationship-building and communication skills

    • High degree of self-motivation and drive; comfort working autonomously as well as working in teams

    • Ability to establish relationships within a matrix organization and at all levels

    • Attention to detail, exceptional project management, time management, event management, and vendor management skills

    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills needed

    • Ability to travel (up to 30%)

    • Flexibility in work schedule is required (to include evenings and weekends, as needed)

    • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Project Management tools
