The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a
Contract Specialist to join our legal team who will carry out administrative and support functions for the contract operations team within the legal department as well as provide support and training for the direct, channel and relationship management sales teams. If you're someone that is detail oriented, can juggle multiple tasks and maintain priorities well and enjoy doing contract related work in a fast paced and collaborative environment, you'll likely feel right at home on this team.

    A Typical Day:

    • Enter, maintain and ensure the integrity of contract data within Salesforce and other tracking databases including but not limited to accuracy and timeliness of dates and opportunity pricing

    • Create, maintain and update as necessary all miscellaneous contract templates and checklists to account for new pricing, products and/or services offerings

    • Draft sales orders, amendments, SOW’s, and review sales order forms for accuracy

    • ·Ensure that contracts are thoroughly reviewed for pricing approvals prior to preparing a final copy for signature

    • Reply timely to interdepartmental and intradepartmental requests

    • Work independently and with little supervision, managing and documenting work assignments in Salesforce and addressing any concerns/requests by the applicable deadlines

    • Exercise some judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate action

    • Responsible for ensuring that all contractual and approval policies and controls are adhered to

    • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.

    • Must be able to retain a large amount of information and be detail oriented

    • Ability to multi-task and work independently and with a team

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Must demonstrate ability to easily adapt to change and quickly learn and retain new processes and other contract related information

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce preferred
