The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking an exceptional candidate to drive HR initiatives, ensuring successful implementation with sizable impact on the organization’s objectives and overall business success.
As part of Q2’s People organization, the HR Project Manager will be instrumental in the future success of our 2000+ employees across the globe. We need your energy, enthusiasm, talents and drive to deliver programs to strengthen our people, our company and the communities in which we serve.
These contributions will be critical and integral to organizing broad cross-functional efforts in alignment with our company’s mission of building stronger and more diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions.
A Typical Day:
The HR Project Manager’s tasks will include but are not limited to:
Identifying and design of opportunities including defining project goals, objectives and deliverables
Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure and ensures projects are delivered within scope, budget and timeline.
Recruiting and leading project delivery teams from within the company
Driving day-to-day operations tasks requiring partnership with other HR functions to promote effective end-to-end HR services delivery.
Closing out and handing over projects to ensure sustainability.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both within HR and related business units, and continuously optimize the delivery and business impacts.
To further grow and scale the HR function, collaboration and exceptional project management will be essential to this role’s success. You must actively engage as a cross-functional partner with actions that span multiple functions including, but not limited to:
Business Leaders
Employees in all locations, teams and at all levels of tenure and responsibility
Finance, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Procurement
HR Functions: High degree of collaboration with HR Employee Experience team members who represent internal business units, Benefits Team and HR Information Systems teams for data and analysis
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
At least 8 years proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in HR or related field.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced dynamic environment
Conflict-resolution and problem-solving ability
Collaborative with a natural orientation towards community building
Ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders, partners and senior leaders – without reporting authority
Knowledge of requirements and responsibilities for communicating sensitive information in a responsible manner
Exceptional consulting, negotiation and coaching skills for all levels within the organization; as well as demonstrated successful experience at multiple levels of an organization
Be proactively curious - investigate best practices, trends and innovations; use the knowledge to help shape our annual plan and priorities. Understands impact of emerging learning trends and their implications for and its customers
Proven problem solving and decision-making abilities, as well as strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently with solutions-focused approach; demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency, pushing self and others for results; “hands on” approach and an independent thinker with strong organizational skills, customer focus and orientation.
Strong business acumen and knowledge of MS Office Suite, navigation of HCM systems, ability to leverage technology to deliver results critical for success
This position is based in Austin, Texas and will require on campus work for minimum of 3 days per week.
