The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Product Management who will be responsible for strategic planning, development, and management of the roadmap in support of our Fraud & Data platform initiatives fundamental to our industry-changing fintech platform. You will be working at a company whose mission is to build stronger, diverse communities by strengthening their financial intuitions and with FinTech’s and startups who want to bring change and innovation to the financial world. This position will be responsible for leading a team in the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. It requires a highly motivated and focused individual capable of leading and building high-performing innovative teams. This role will be located in Austin, TX.

As it relates to Fraud and Data Products you understand the cross-section of behavioral insights and data monetization in the financial space with an eye toward leading edge fraud mitigation. You are passionate about improving data user productivity and defining the next-generation products for how data is produced and consumed on our financial platform. You understand the infrastructure, processes, and tooling that empowers our data engineers and scientists to rapidly convert activity on our platform to behavioral insights and have a passion for increasing its value. You will be responsible for defining how data becomes part of people’s daily activities across product teams, is used to curtain fraud, and develop the roadmap for how we get there, with internal and external teams.
In addition, you take a client-centric approach to product management and have demonstrated results, driving rapid modifications and initial concepts to new and existing products. Although you will work in the Product group and manage key personnel in your product organization you will also continually work with, build, and influence cross-departmental workgroups with your outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
A Typical Day:
Drive roadmap and product strategy for fraud and data platform initiatives
Establish the vision for next-generation fraud and data engineering products.
Close partnership with engineering to understand technical trade-offs and architecture to optimally influence product design
Monitor and impact key metrics and efficiencies for product
Provide guidance and mentorship to the product team on the product lifecycle
Assist, train and grow employees and evangelize best practices
Proactively identify opportunities for new trends/features/products
Perform research and provide industry expertise to be utilized in product business cases
Establish and track business cases and financials
Assess the risk of value, feasibility, and usability as key factors to product success
Communicate value and vision effectively-being confident with presentation skills and establish credibility with an audience
Engage with clients and prospects through Relationship and Sales teams as needed to present and discuss roadmap and strategy
Build effective relationships with others in Product, Sales, and Marketing
A champion end-user experience by actively seeking to integrate human interaction best practices and best in class front end design into each feature you build
Work with Product Owners to ensure all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Work with Product Owners to deliver product acceptance criteria for the development organization you work with to ensure the highest quality and customer experience
Work with the Release Management team to develop and deliver release documentation and training materials for internal groups on key functional aspects of products under your ownership

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
Minimum 5-8 years in Product Management, financial services, or e-commerce is preferred
Typically requires 2-4 years' experience managing and developing employees
Demonstrable previous experience in software product management
Strong team leadership qualities with proven experience building, growing, motivating, and mentoring high-performance teams
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skills
Proficiency in the various MS Office applications and Atlassian Suite
A self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance
Strong knowledge of fraud solutions, fraud risk monitoring, mitigations and processes
Experience with customer data and marketing platforms a plus
Knowledge of Network and Acquirer tokenization a plus
Demonstrable knowledge of traditional and emerging methods of payment (e.g., ACH, Wire, Disbursements, Real Time Payments and Card Processing).
Must have Payment experience
