The Job At-A-Glance
Q2 is currently seeking a Marketing Event Planner who will be responsible for the planning and execution of industry trade shows and Q2 hosted events. If you enjoy planning and logistics around events, have a creative side and enjoy strategy, and thrive in a collaborative environment, you'll likely feel right at home on this team.

A Typical Day:

  • Drive strategic tradeshow selection process & lead tradeshow planning, logistics, communication and measurement

  • Determine & maintain master tradeshow schedule

  • Gather feedback from sales team on trade shows for consideration & develop effective trade show plan

  • Manage the event or tradeshow budget

  • Manage Q2 attendee & sponsorship registration and payments

  • Manage and oversee booth shipping/inventory via third party company

  • Work directly with venue to order booth furnishings/electricity/cleaning

  • Manage and lead event brief and debrief meetings & run of show schedule

  • Order and maintain inventory of marketing collateral and give-away items

  • Lead and manage pre & post show attendee communications & lists

  • Develop and maintain tradeshow scorecards and additional follow-up items

  • Core team planning member for the Q2 annual Client Conference

  • Plan & support annual Collaborate programs

  • Lead the research, idea generation, coordinating and measurement of other client and employee events as needed

  • Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

  • Maintain marketing inventory and storage area

  • Determine & execute direct mail and e-mail campaigns related to events

  • Attend meetings, tradeshows and conferences as planned

  • Organize and host client and prospect visits

  • Work closely with other organizations within the company such as sales, solutions consulting, finance and product

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must

  • Solid Microsoft Office skills – Word, Power Point, Excel

  • Strong skills in Cvent, Marketo & Salesforce.com preferred

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a professional and positive manner

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and must be comfortable in front of C-Level Executives & Clients

  • May require up to 15% of travel
