As the Director of Growth Marketing at Payabli, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic growth initiatives. This is an individual contributor role, where you will have the opportunity to build and lead a marketing team as Payabli scales. Reporting directly to Payabli's CEOs, you will work closely with the entire leadership team and our investors.
Responsibilities
- Obsessively Explore Low-Cost, Scalable Marketing Channels: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy with a relentless focus on finding and optimizing low-cost, highly scalable marketing channels and tactics.
- Drive Tangible, Quantifiable Results: Take ownership of end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, with an unwavering commitment to delivering tangible, quantifiable results that directly impact customer acquisition, revenue growth, and user retention.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics tools to inform marketing decisions and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
- Collaborate and Scale: Collaborate closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with overall company objectives. As the company grows, you'll have the opportunity to build and lead a marketing team to scale our efforts.
- Market Research and Innovation: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and create innovative, data-driven marketing strategies.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Optimize conversion funnels and user onboarding experiences to improve customer acquisition and retention rates.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage marketing budgets, allocating resources to maximize ROI and ensuring campaigns deliver a strong return on investment.
- Partnerships and Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to support marketing efforts.
- Sales Enablement: Develop and provide marketing materials and tools to enable the sales team to effectively communicate the value proposition and drive sales.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to develop and execute product marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
- Traditional Marketing Channels: Plan and execute traditional marketing initiatives, including participation in tradeshows and industry events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving user acquisition and revenue growth in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and analytics tools to make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Experience managing marketing initiatives independently and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including PPC, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and social media advertising.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Prior experience in the fintech industry is a requisite for this role.
- Embedded Payments experience a big plus
