Parker provides a corporate charge card + financial software for e-Commerce businesses. Parker’s solutions are purpose built for e-Commerce, and our customers benefit from this vertical focus. We differentiate by building sharp analytics on each e-Commerce store we work with–our card, credit terms, and software are built on these analytics. Today, Parker’s flagship product is our charge card, but this card is a wedge that will expand into a range of software and financial products in the future.

We are growing fast, and in 2023, we are looking to expand our lean team. Our investors include Valar Ventures, Solomon Hykes (founder of Docker), Paul Buchheit (founder of Gmail), Paul Graham (founder of Y Combinator), Robert Leshner (founder of compound.finance), and other top-tier fintech investors.

We’re interested in hiring a CFO to spearhead the growth and maturation of our finance & capital markets functions, and to help enable the next chapter of growth at Parker. This role will report to the CEO.

Your Impact:

• Raise & Manage Debt Facilities - You will raise both asset-backed and venture debt facilities to support Parker’s lending activity. You’ll optimize Parker’s debt terms and cost of capital, and maintain compliance with all triggers and covenants
• Raise Equity - You’ll lead the presentations and process for Parker’s key growth equity rounds, and ideally have experience raising Series B and C+ rounds from top-tier growth equity investors
• Set Goals and KPIs - You will set and track Parker’s financial goals, and help chart a course to reach them
• Vendor & Partner Management - Negotiate key deals with banking, financial, and other vendors
• Run FP&A - You will be responsible for all financial analysis, modeling, and presentations, including board presentations, and the annual budgeting process (in collaboration with Parker’s Controller)
• Manage Finance Team - Hire, manage, and mentor employees across FP&A, accounting, and capital markets

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in FP&A, capital markets, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or consulting, ideally with 2+ years spent at a fintech company
• Experience hiring and leading a finance team through key chapters of business, headcount, and fundraising growth. (ie Series B, C, D+, 50-200 employees, etc.)

• Experience with building financial models and forecasting business performance

• Experience with debt, raising debt, and fintech credit products strongly preferred. Ideally knowledgeable about credit agreements and other key legal agreements

• Strong grasp of accounting, GAAP, monthly close, annual audit process
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Base Salary $225K-$275K
