WORK ENVIRONMENT:
We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations. The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for experienced Mobile developers for our various development squad teams to develop highly secure, functional-rich native mobile apps with a world-class UX that tightly integrate with our backend applications as well as with 3rd party systems. The position of Mobile Developer combines technical experience, analytical abilities, and sound coding skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate UX designs and business requirements into technical specifications and provide effort estimates
- Create & review software architecture designs including visual representations
- Identify and articulate risk and potential mitigations
- Develop native Mobile apps for iOS and Android according to UX designs which tightly integrate with our backend applications as well as with 3rd party systems
- Deliver secure and high quality code according to architectural standards in shortest time in collaboration with your squad team’s peer mobile, web, and backend developers including doing code reviews
- Analyze root causes of mission-critical issues under time pressure and provide rapid mitigations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience as a native mobile app developer using swift and/or Kotlin
- 2+ years of experience in creating consumer-centric mobile apps, ideally for the Banking or Fintech industry
- Experience with working in agile environments
- Very good communicator
