We're looking for thoughtful problem-solvers with big hearts, the ability to speak easily & confidently, and the innate desire to exceed customer expectations, to join our Customer Advocacy department as Account Coordinators on the Collections and Recoveries team.
About you:
You've developed your skills with 1+ year(s) experience in any professional environment where going above and beyond for your customers is the number one priority.
We've found that everyone from recent grads, tenured call-center professionals, collections agents, outbound sales reps, and customer service professionals from the retail, restaurant and hospitality industries are well prepared for success in this key role. The impact you'll make:
You'll drive forward our mission of financial inclusion by serving as the voice of Mission Lane in phone interactions, via live customer calls in our phone queue.
You'll speak with customers who have fallen behind on payment, approach them with dignity and respect, and help them improve their financial health by negotiating payment or settlement plans. When our customers speak with you, they'll know that their financial well-being is your number one priority.
You'll thrive in this role if:
- You have 1+ years experience going above and beyond for customers, in any industry.
- You have some sales or negotiation experience, or the ability to speak persuasively.
- You're a critical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- You're savvy with the use of technology & software.
- You have solid written and verbal communication skills.
- You have great interpersonal skills, and an ability to adapt to the situation.
- You're resourceful, resilient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You can multitask while speaking with customers.
- You're able to recover quickly from difficult conversations.
- You have a High School diploma or GED.

Schedule:
- We are currently hiring for a 12:30pm - 9pm Eastern Time shift.
