The Role:
We are seeking a Sales Strategy Associate to play a critical role in market expansion and platform growth. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter and data modeling enthusiast who can work collaboratively to develop financial models, build compelling proposals, and optimize processes for the sales team. In this role, you will be deeply involved in strategic initiatives with direct executive involvement and adapt to the rapidly evolving needs of a technology startup.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Metropolis sales team to develop & review financial models for Metropolis’ operations with commercial real estate owners
- Evaluate potential business opportunities, critically assessing product fit, strategic value, and adherence to pricing guidelines
- Craft compelling narratives and create polished proposals for real estate partners
- Coordinate RFP delivery: work cross-functionally to compile information, manage timelines, etc.
- Work with and foster relationships with multiple teams including launch, operations, finance, product, and others
- Identify and own process improvement initiatives across the sales organization to ultimately help shorten the sales cycle
- Lead a multitude of ad-hoc projects related to revenue generation, performance reporting, process development, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience driving complex cross-functional projects
- Comfort with ambiguity, and ability to work within the organizational dynamics of a fast-growth company
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data trends
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong excel skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales tools is a plus
- Strong business acumen and an appreciation for building repeatable processes
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field with an emphasis in mathematics or statistics.
- 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, finance, business development, or commercial real estate. Experience in the transportation, mobility, real estate, or logistics industries is a plus! A passion for making the journey remarkable is non-negotiable.

The anticipated base pay for this position is $95,000.00- $115,000.00. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
