Givebacks is on a mission to help people do good every day without doing extra. We are making the giving process more inclusive by empowering people to leverage their everyday spending to generate partner-funded donations every time they shop. Givebacks members can choose from over 1M participating non profits from their local school or animal shelter, to national charitable organizations.

Givebacks is looking for an experienced Partner Marketing Director to drive further impact to our company goals and mission. This person will lead the marketing strategy and execution that focuses on our non profit partners. This person should be a “jack of many trades, master of getting it done” with an expert ability in negotiating and managing a diverse set of priorities.

This position can be remote. Limited travel can be expected in the future when we collaborate in person.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and drive implementation of our brand strategy consolidation for the nonprofit audience & channels by Q3 2023

  • Be the protector of the brand, brand story, and messaging, ensuring consistent verbal and visual identity used across the organization

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to support gross revenue goals for our products serving nonprofit partners

  • Create and execute marketing strategies to grow Givebacks brand awareness among specifically focusing on small to medium size nonprofits

  • Collaborate with K-12 sales lead to develop K-12 District Channel into a repeatable go-to-market plan

  • Craft and implement demand generation strategies, executional plans and custom campaigns to drive activity throughout the funnel targeting nonprofit partners

  • Oversee all creative across copy and design, ensuring every touchpoint is consistent and on-brand for all nonprofit partner communications and channels

  • Identify and manage the tracking, measurement and reporting of all marketing activity focused on nonprofit partners

What You Bring:

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing in all forms (CRM, digital advertising, email marketing, SEO, website design)

  • Strong preference towards a healthy balance in doing both executional work and leading strategy

  • Experience in non-profit technology / fundraising / social impact

  • Expert in demand generation with working knowledge of Hubspot and Iterable

  • Experience building out and executing marketing strategies and executing plans focused on reaching non-profit organizations

  • Experience and preference working in early stage start-ups

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Eastern or Central Time Zone

  • Proactive, data-informed and solutions-oriented

  • Four-year degree or commensurate experience


  • Experience in partnership marketing (e.g., influencer, B2B)

  • Experience managing a team

  • Experience in growing B2B2C brands

  • Experience in cashback, affiliate, loyalty marketing programs

  • Design capabilities a huge plus

  • Masters Degree in Business or Communications / Marketing
