This position is based in our headquarters in Boston, MA. Role is hybrid 3+ days a week in office.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and improve risk scoring and related financial models
- Develop and improve a robust model QA framework (confidence scoring, explainability, feature sensitivity, data drift)
- Participate in the full modeling pipeline (from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering, to model training and deployment)
- Communicate directly with stakeholders to understand use cases and present results
What you should have:
- PhD in computer science/statistics/mathematics or a related field
- Deep understanding of machine learning models and methods
- Solid understanding of probability and statistics
- Significant experience working with real-world, messy datasets
- Proficiency in Python (including standard data science libraries: numpy, pandas, pytorch, scikit-learn)
- Excellent communication skills
