About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Regional Director sales leader for our Mid-Atlantic market. This team is responsible for covering the NY Metro Area, NJ, DE, DC, MD, VA, NC. This role will report to our Mid-Atlantic distribution leader. Our Distribution team is responsible for alternative investment product sales and advisor education for registered investment advisors (RIAs), regional, and independent broker dealers, bank trust clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage a consultative sales process to acquire new relationships, expand existing client relationships, and service platform assets under management.
  • Develop sales proficiency with menu of 40+ offering menu of private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Lead and manage new manager launch process in market.
  • Work in partnership with wealth management and asset management partners to generate AI interest and asset flows.
  • Travel in the market to meet with advisors, clients, and centers of influence in support of the broader sales and educational effort.
  • Leverage technology input and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working within the alternative investment industry in a client facing capacity (e.g., external wholesaler, capital raising specialist, client portfolio manager, product specialist)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and follow a rigorous sales process across a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings.
  • Series 7 and 63 license required (obtained within 60 days of start)
  • Obtain CAIA within 2-3 years of hire

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
