About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Senior Vice President, Regional Director sales leader for our Midwest market. This team is responsible for covering MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, KY, OH, MI. This role will be part of iCapital’s Alternatives Distribution team and will report to our Midwest Regional sales head. This team is responsible for Alternative Investment product sales and advisor education for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), regional and independent broker dealers, and bank trust clientele.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a consultative sales process to acquire new relationships, expand existing client relationships, and service existing platform Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Develop sales proficiency with the 40+ offering menu of private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
- Lead and manage the new manager launch processes in market.
- Work in close partnership with wealth management and asset management partners to generate asset flows.
- Travel in market to meet with advisors, clients, and centers of influence in support of iCapital’s sales effort.
- Leverage technology input and reporting tools (e.g., Sales Force, Tableau).
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience working within the Alternative Investment industry in a client facing capacity (e.g., external wholesaler, capital raising specialist, client portfolio manager, product specialist)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and follow a rigorous sales process
- Able to sell and provide support for a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings
- Series 7 & 63 license required (obtained within 60 days of start)
- Obtain CAIA within 2-3 years of hire date
- Able to travel domestically, on a regular cadence
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
