About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Claims System Analyst who will support the creation and execution of our claim strategy. This role will require a high level of claims expertise at the procedural and technical level. This role requires expertise in current state process mapping, reengineering, project implementation, and results analysis. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record designing solutions and implementing claims systems.

About You:

  • You will have 7 or more years of combined claims, project management, process mapping, and significant project implementation experience including developing technical business requirements.
  • You have a track record of partnering with claims and other business units to develop the roadmap to position the claims team to achieve its strategic goals.
  • You have a demonstrated history of planning and supporting the implementation of project and system integrations, using tested project management methodology and tools.
  • You will have experience interacting and presenting to different departments and to executive-level team members.
  • You have hands-on experience adjusting, creating, and implementing new claims processes, and measuring success through data and analytics.
  • You have experience working in a continuous improvement environment and can translate problems into opportunities and prioritize multiple demands.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze and evaluate homeowners’ insurance claims processing systems and supporting technology to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement system enhancements, including changes to business processes, system configurations, and data analysis.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Providing technical support to users and resolving system issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining system documentation and training materials and conducting user training as needed.
  • Monitoring system performance and generating reports to inform decision-making.
  • Serve as a key resource and help lead our change management process.

Must Haves:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with property claims, ideally to include claims handling, leadership, and positions that contributed to claims operation design and strategic innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with technology departments to design and/or implement major projects from a claims and systems perspective including drafting business requirement documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • Strong understanding of the claims process, claims quality standards, and claims workflow.
  • High level of organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to negotiate, adapt, influence others, manage conflict, and make solid decisions while being flexible as you work with different team members and departments.
  • High/advanced proficiency with Visio, Excel, Power BI, Forms, and other Microsoft products.
  • Ideally, able to pull and manipulate data using Sequel, Tableau, or other data analysis and visualization software.
