We’re looking for a Senior Business Operations Associate to join the EquityZen team as we redefine private markets. In this role you will work together with sales, marketing, operations, product, and other teams to develop and execute on initiatives around analytics, process improvements, and growth.

EquityZen brings together investors and shareholders, providing liquidity to early shareholders and private market access to accredited investors. With low investment minimums through our funds and with more than 35,000 private placements completed across 400+ companies, EquityZen leads the way in delivering “Private Markets for the Public”.


  • Deliver analyses and insights to power strategic decision making across the company, with a focus on go-to-market performance
  • Build out improved end-to-end funnel tracking for our business, working with product and engineering on our data strategy and working with business teams to produce insightful and actionable dashboards and reports
  • Execute on our go-to-market and analytics tech stack (e.g. Salesforce, Tableau)
  • Drive CRM and deal pipeline data integrity
  • Analyze key business metrics to uncover constraints to and opportunities for growth, then work with stakeholder teams to run experiments and implement scalable growth strategies
  • Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and other teams to provide planning, operational, analytical, and strategic support
  • Serve as the project manager for cross-functional initiatives
  • Design and build more scalable processes and policies for our business


  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role; Business, Revenue, or Sales Operations experience preferred
  • Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau (or similar BI tool)
  • Data driven with demonstrated ability to gather, clean, analyze, visualize, and communicate with data
  • Collaborative approach with ability to listen, communicate, and work effectively across functions including marketing, sales, customer success, operations, product, and finance
  • Systems thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and bottlenecks, to hypothesize, prototype, and test solutions, and to build with an eye towards scalability
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action who can not only prioritize initiatives and make insightful recommendations but also own the detailed execution and implementation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and curiosity in our space and our business
  • Skilled project manager who can scope projects, identify dependencies, and measure progress and impact across various initiatives


  • Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of sales enablement tools (e.g. Salesloft, Outreach), e-mail marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and customer success tools (e.g. Intercom)
  • Salesforce Admin Certification(s)
  • Experience at a growth stage startup
  • First hand understanding of marketplace business models
  • Experience in fintech, in particular: alternative investment platforms, personal finance, retail investing & secondary markets, asset management, or capital markets


$90,000 - $120,000
