The Growth Engagement Associate II is key to driving Credit Karma Money’s growth engine. Your mandate is to drive adoption & retention by designing highly personalized lifecycle journeys and product experiences that touch millions of members every day across multiple channels (including email, push notification and in-app).

What you’ll do:

  • Own engagement initiatives from inception to launch across multiple channels, including email, push notifications and in-app
  • Generate hypotheses driven by data to improving marketing performance, design and execute A/B tests, and apply knowledge of basic statistics (e.g. sample size, significance) to separate signal from noise
  • Drive the creative development & iteration pipeline utilizing learnings from your A/B tests
  • Use data to identify opportunities to engage with members as well as to define segmentation and targeting strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Copy/Design, Legal, and Product/Engineering to transform your ideas into compelling and personalized messages and product experiences
  • Hone your strategic thinking - transform large data sets into a story that helps senior leadership make decisions
  • Help lead the migration of our lifecycle from our internal email system to Braze, unlocking powerful new capabilities for Credit Karma

  • The role is highly cross-functional. You will be the primary point of contact for Product Marketing, Creative, Legal, and Product in a matrixed and highly collaborative team environment

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of growth marketing experience in consumer software or equivalent experience in a quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving engagement and lifecycle initiatives within a B2C environment, especially with Braze, Iterable or similar modern ESP
  • Experience with marketing strategy, including opportunity assessment, customer segmentation and price testing
  • Familiarity with SQL and / or HTML a plus but not a requirement
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with analyzing large sets of data
  • Track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Hands-on, high capacity doer, multi-tasker with strong ownership mentality
  • Technical degree (Economics, Statistics, Math, etc.) preferred
  • MBA a plus but not a requirement

Pay Transparency Notice: Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $106,000 to $120,625, plus equity and benefits.
