Business Development Executive
You will be the “tip of the spear” when it comes to lead generation. You will be provided with a territory and named accounts, however it will be your responsibility to maintain this list with up-to-date and relevant account information. Most importantly you will have to be strategic in managing and planning your time and activities. You will have full control of planning your approach but it should be detailed in how you spend your time and correlate strongly with the expectations surrounding hitting your targets. All plans should be in a review cycle where we analyse their success and continuously refine, for ongoing improvement.
You will be expected to generate leads and meetings on a daily basis. In this role the work doesn’t just come to you, your job will be to leverage our content, technology and industry experience in order to book quality meetings. You will need to engage with senior decision makers from within organizations that range from Fintech to traditional banks and credit union.. You should deliver tailored and impactful verbal or written messages in order to educate them on our value proposition, which will ultimately secure meetings and qualify opportunities. You should be confident in using a variety of prospecting methods including but not limited to; Phone calls, email, social media, industry events & video.
This is a role with independent targets, however you will be required to work strongly in a team. First and foremost you will be working closely with your AE,who you will be booking meetings for, therefore must be able to effectively communicate your own plans whilst following their advice and instructions. Finally the commercial team at CA are extremely team orientated, therefore we often come together to share our experiences and learnings, as a valued member of the team you will be required to communicate your opinions and share stories to receive feedback of your own.
You will be working in the Financial Crime market which is quite complex in nature. You will have the support of an experienced team and numerous amounts of training materials. However in order to excel in this role you will be required to commit to self-learning and continuous training. Areas of industry learning will cover product knowledge, competitor knowledge and a deep understanding of the market and person as you will be prospecting into. This also extends outside of the industry as you will be expected to continuously improve your ever-expanding sales skills. To help with this you will receive an annual personal training budget and paid training days.
Track record in generating new business within a corporate, SaaS , B2B sales environment - we are only interested in speaking with individuals that can demonstrate self-sufficient success and the ability to find, manage and close high-value deals with major brands.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably with at least 3 in B2B compliance/regulatory, or other cloud/SaaS solutions for the financial services industry
Experience in solution / value based selling to extract maximum value
Experience of selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment

Experience in AML/Compliance/PEP-Sanctions/Transaction Monitoring sales is desirable but not essential
Keen executor of a standardised sales process, ideally leveraging a known methodology e.g. MEDDICC, Sandler, Challenger.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a consultative approach to close business
