About the Role
As a People Operations Generalist, you will play a valuable role within the People Operations team owning multiple stages of the employee lifecycle, including one of our most impactful programs - New Hire Onboarding. You will have the opportunity to not only deliver a world-class experience to new hires, but to also set your strategic mind to continually improve our People processes to be automated, scalable and best in class. You have the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice to solve urgent issues, but also have the strong ability to think proactively in order to create scalable solutions. Most importantly, you enjoy teamwork and collaboration with talented individuals. You will report to the People Operations Manager.
This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver our onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including new hire communications, orientation experience; facilitate continuous improvement of employee experience through survey feedback
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, including facilitating postings, training and reporting
- Manage background check program in collaboration with Legal to ensure compliance and due diligence
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Talent, IT and Payroll to promote accurate, timely completion of employee lifecycle processes, maintain employee information in HR systems and inform bi-weekly payroll
- Provide high-quality, timely HR support for Coalition employees, ranging from employee benefits to HRIS administration
- Oversee our global facilities program, including managing vendor relationships & contracts, office safety, points of contact, visitor information and services provided for each office
- Contribute to our knowledge management efforts through the creation and maintenance of process and policy documentation
- Identify opportunities for internal process improvements to promote efficiency and scalability, including staying current on HR technologies and best practices
- Assist with other People team projects and responsibilities as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 3+ years of People Operations experience in a high-growth organization with a strong emphasis in developing new hire onboarding/offboarding programs
- Hands on experience with Workday as well as other scaled HR systems (e.g., ADP, Greenhouse, Checkr)
- Experience with content/knowledge management (e.g., Confluence/Google Suite)
- Experience supporting a geographically distributed workforce
- Familiarity with best practices in office management, including working knowledge of tools such as Angus and WeWork
- Customer service mentality and exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
- Excited to work in a growth-stage company, having a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid and high-growth environment
- Self-motivated, collaborative individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $79,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
