About the Role
Coalition is looking for an actuarial analyst to help us build a world class actuarial department in the world’s largest commercial Insurtech. This role comes with a significant amount of responsibility and requires both technical acumen and communication skills. Focal areas include working with our finance team, claims team, underwriting team, reinsurance team, and outside parties to ensure accurate reserves.
Responsibilities
- Build and evaluate reserving models
- Assist in the financial reconciliation of reserve information
- In depth analysis on future loss trends
- Perform portfolio analyses
- Provide actuarial assistance on internal projects and initiatives as required
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in reserving, preferably with cyber and/or professional liability
- ACAS or pursuing exams
- Ability to quickly update models in the face of changing data
- Must be able to work independently using own initiative and be a team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- SQL

- Coalition’s individual pay is determined on several factors, including but not limited to, location, level, skills and experience. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $135,000, and your recruiter can share more on target salary for your location during the interview process.
