The Team:

We operate in a fast-paced environment where you can learn the business from the ground up. Our team is very flat, so you will be a peer helping in all aspects of the accounting and reporting functions. We look to be cross trained in several disciplines to solve challenges that go beyond the scope of one confined problem space. Our group collaborates with different teams across the organization to ensure that finance and accounting functions are handled excellently. As technology is an integral part of our business, we look to utilize technology to automate and streamline processes and consistently seeks for improvements in everything we do.

The Role:

• Recording financial transactions in the general ledger, and helping ensure timely close of the monthly books and records.
• Assisting with monthly accruals, software capitalization, FX translation, consolidation,, and other accounting matters.
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial statements of the regulated entities and Clear Street Group.
• Providing support during financial statement audits and preparing audit schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional certification, such as CPA, is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting / accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail..
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

We Offer:

The Base Salary Range is 100,000-120,000. These ranges are representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Which range a candidate fits into and where a candidate falls in the range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. These ranges represent Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The ranges stated do not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
