ABOUT THE TEAM
The Finance team supports all business areas, from key strategic decisions to day-to-day operations. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist excited to play a role in the financial evolution of Bestow. You will work closely with the Finance team and other teams across the organization.
This hybrid role requires someone to be in our Downtown Dallas office 2-3 times weekly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Administration and processing of the Company’s accounts payables using accounting software and other programs
  • Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental approval procedures
  • Processing transactions, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts
  • Maintaining records of all payments made to ensure the accuracy of the amounts entered into the system
  • Responsibility for addressing inquiries regarding vendor payment status
  • Oversight of the Company credit card program: Recording activity, receipt tracking/filing, monthly reconciliation
  • Coordination of travel and expense approvals and processing
  • Review and quality check the processing of billings and related payments for Company benefit plans. Including reconciliation of benefit plans with service providers to ensure accurate billing.
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Accounting Manager

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in Business, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum three years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Technically proficient in MS Excel and able to perform analysis and present results in a clear manner
  • Self-starter and able to efficiently collaborate across teams and organize large amounts of data
  • Attention to detail and ability to process a high volume of transactions timely and accurately
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently to meet deadlines
  • Must be proficient and have a working knowledge of general ledger transactions and reconciliation skills
  • Experience with multi-entity accounts payable processing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of associates
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Experience with working within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software platform
