We are seeking a Director of Accounting Operations who works well independently and as part of a team and can deliver on multiple deadlines while ensuring that work is completed on time and with a high level of accuracy. You must have the ability to identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve the problem or be comfortable seeking advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others. The Director of Accounting Operations collaborates with peer directors in financial reporting and revenue recognition and reports to the Chief Accounting Officer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervision of the general ledger accounting team (3 full time professionals)
• Driving period-end close process including reconciliations and performance of other key internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX standards
• Manage consolidation of 10+ legal entities, including intercompany expense allocation/eliminations and international operations
• Implementation of business process automation initiatives
• Serving as a liaison with internal department heads including payroll, FP&A and product development to ensure funds and information are flowing
• Timely delivery of supporting schedules to external parties supporting various financial, statutory and regulatory audit procedures.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting coupled with relevant experience
• 8+ years of experience working directly with general ledger in a high volume, mulit-partner, multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environment
• Solid interpersonal skills in an environment whose emphasis is on teamwork, high-quality service, collaboration and process innovation
• Ability to work under multiple deadlines, independently and in a team environment and accept responsibility for assigned duties
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of key accounting principles and possess the ability to effectively apply fundamental accounting concepts to familiar and unfamiliar situations
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel skills required
• Active CPA preferred
• Experience with SAP Concur
• NetSuite or other ERP experience
• NetSuite or other ERP experience
