As a Processor II, Insurance Operations at Assurely, you will perform administrative and underwriting support functions for the organization, reporting directly to the Manager, Insurance Operations. Your role will work closely with the Client / Advisory team to achieve and sustain the production, quality, and service goals of the department. Other primary responsibilities include project work.

This is an intermediate operation position that offers a unique opportunity for continued growth and insurance skill development, specifically in the start-up space. You'll be an integral part of our team, handling a variety of tasks that require attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients and business partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the entire application process, including underwriting coordination, client communication, and policy issuance.

  • Assist in the claims handling process, including documentation, coordination with adjusters, and client communication.

  • Monitor policy files and processes for compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.

  • Handle complex client inquiries, providing detailed information and resolution.

  • Oversee billing activities, managing more complex accounts and issues.

  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements within the processing functions.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior processors and other team members.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in insurance processing or a related field.

  • Familiarity with insurance products, terminology, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in insurance-specific software and advanced computer skills.

  • Ability to handle complex issues with confidence and efficiency.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior team members.
