Collaborate with SVP and VP of Client to service existing accounts, identify opportunities for cross-sales, and strengthen client relationships
Coordinate commercial insurance marketing efforts, renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, ACORD applications, and surplus lines forms with accuracy and in compliance with industry standards and regulations
Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, policies, and transactions, creating periodic reports to keep management informed of account status
Assist sales teams in developing and enhancing customer-facing insurance presentations on Assurely's platform
Build new / leverage existing relationships to act as a liaison between clients and carriers
Serve as an available point of contact for client inquiries and issues, coordinating with other Assurely teams as necessary to ensure timely resolution
Support and contribute to business development within targeted insurance market segments
Identify and communicate internal information management system needs, updates, and recommendations as needed
Advocate Assurely's brand and culture with external and internal partners as well as policyholders
Experience: 2+ years of experience in insurance account coordination, brokerage, or a related role.
Current and valid insurance license(s) in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients, adapted to fit differing client personas and their specific business operations and needs
Ability to balance and manage multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines in a detailed and organized manner
Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction, relationship-building, and relationship management
Familiarity and competency with common insurance software platforms and tools, including CRM systems (Nexsure and Freshsales experience a plus), carrier rating systems (Hartford, CNA, Liberty Mutual, Hanover, etc.), document management solutions, and other technology (Gmail, Google Drive, S3, PDF edit)
Ability to work effectively with sales, underwriting, claims, and other internal teams to meet client needs.
NICE TO HAVES
Specific industry and/or policyholder experience in our PropTech (construction, property management, contractor/ services) or FinTech (financial services, web3/ digital assets, Capital Raising/ venture or investor-backed startups) sectors
Experience with multiple lines of business insurance coverage:
Professional Liability / Errors and Omissions
Deep understanding or experience with carrier rating platforms, Nexsure, Google Drive, PDF Edit, Google systems, Broker Buddha, and Freshsales (as referenced above)
