The Role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who can act as a coach and a facilitator to ensure team success through best Agile practices and process. The Scrum Master will be part of a cutting-edge software development team that will be responsible for increasing the team’s efficiency as well as motivating the team. Our Scrum Master will also be actively involved in fighting for changes that will maximize values for our customers.

Ultimately, as a Scrum Master you’ll develop and lead a high-performing, multi-discipline team, instilling in them a clear vision and a passionate drive. You’ll play a leading role in fulfilling the vision, driving the implementation of our products and setting standards for our teams to follow.

What You’ll Do

Facilitate and ensure team is involved in key Agile Practices, and facilitate Scrum events, including refinement/grooming/planning, estimation, review and retro.
You will also track and use metrics to ensure the team and squad performance as well as recommend Agile/Scrum process adjustments to increase the team’s performance.
Work collaboratively with Product Owner and Engineering on any proposed changes and ensure best allocation of the teams resources.
You will be working with 2 or more Agile squads and reviewing and maintaining JIRA board input.
Establish and build great working relationships at all levels of the organization and identify blockers and find ways of resolutions in teams.
Ownership and accountability of establishing agile values, methods, principles and practices for the delivery of projects and products.
Build a self-organized team.
Conflict resolution.
Enable the exploration of different agile approaches.
Coach and mentor team members on agile standards and best practices, e.g., Lean, Kanban, Scrum, XP, DevOps, SAFe, LeSS, etc.
Manage stakeholders and vendors interfaces as required for the product.
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog.
Represent the team's interests towards relevant stakeholders and work out improvement for areas of tension within the agile transformation.
Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coach them to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
What You’ll Bring

Experience in coaching and training individuals and teams in Agile concepts and practices.
Excellent communication skills and experience inside and outside of the teams.
Experience in agile practices using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or LeSS.
Minimum 3 years of high Agile expertise coaching software development teams
Effectively communicate in English (both verbal and written)
Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency and servant leadership
Experience of Technology Engineering as a Project Leader.
A Passion and commitment to quality and target goals.
Basic IT and software development skills. Soft skills are more important for this role.
Openness to new ideas and a desire to develop them together.
Strong collaborative problem solver.
An interest in modern management and innovation methods like Management 3.0 or Lean Startup.
Nice To have

Agile Certified Practitioner Certification.
