AppZen is seeking a Pre Sales Solution Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software solutions sales, as well as an in-depth understanding of software architecture and product design. The Pre Sales Solution Architect will be responsible for working closely with the sales team to provide technical support and expertise during the sales process, ensuring that clients are well-informed and confident in their investment in AppZen’s solutions.

- Partner with the sales team to understand the client’s technical requirements and objectives
- Provide technical support during the sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and product evaluations
- Develop technical proposals and presentations that align with the client’s requirements and objectives
- Conduct technical demonstrations to showcase the value of AppZen’s solutions to potential clients
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide product feedback and input on new features and capabilities
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that AppZen’s solutions remain relevant and competitive
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software solutions sales or pre-sales
- Strong understanding of software architecture and product design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesKnowledge of AP systems such as Ariba, Coupa, Opentext, Concur
- Partner with the Product/CS/IS for building assets and content
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

AppZen is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base pay range for this role is $160,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
