ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex Clearing is seeking a Operations Specialist (Banking) to build strong relationships with business partners, correspondents, and colleagues, serving as a point of contact for Apex Clearing customers in as it relates banking functions and products.

What you’ll do all day:
Follow policies and procedures to set up customers for success and mitigate risk. You’ll work with clients and Apex operational units to process transactions like Automated Clearing House (ACH) setup/transactions, check deposits/disbursements, incoming/outgoing wires, check writing/debit card product and FDIC sweep program – just to name a few!
Build relationships. In addition to building strong relationships with Apex customers, you’ll also interface with many internal groups to foster client success.
Support customers. Help troubleshoot customer issues and assist with daily transaction processing questions.

The skills you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/task simultaneously in a fast- paced environment
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Series 99 (preferred day 1 / required within 90 days)
Plus: Prior experience in financial/securities industry back office, middle office, operations or customer service
