Job Summary:
As a Sr. Product Manager of Applied Epic agency management systems, you will be responsible for managing and owning software solutions, vendor product management, rollout, and product requirements to improve and optimize both existing and new application capabilities.
As part of the Epic team, you will manage both Special Projects and Optimization teams to implement product solutions, addon’s, proof of concepts, and strategies for best-in-class insurance technology solutions.
You will be a dedicated manager and partner to your teams, agency partners, Epic Director, and business leaders as you define and identify new and emerging technologies that will transform and optimize the business.
The ideal candidate must be a reliable problem solver, knowledgeable in Epic products and the ability to act with minimal or no supervision. You are results-driven, bring strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Epic products. You are a person who believes in challenging the status quo when needed, while always first seeking to understand.
This successful manager must have a strong desire to leverage their product knowledge, technical communication skills to understand business requirements, and effectively present solutions that address our agency partner’s needs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for management and implementation of all Epic Ancillary products and their modules in multiple Epic databases.
Manage a team of Epic Product Analysts
Manage Epic product integrations, schedule Epic product training, and coordinate with cross functional teams.
Provide overall project management, coordination of product solutions, determine product addon’s, and running proof of concepts for Acrisure agency partners.
Understand insurance customer needs. Identify and define product requirements. Your focus will be to give our customers a best-in-class experience by understanding and delivering customer solutions.
Create clear goals for the team. Efficiently execute to develop products and deliver impact for our business and customers.
Build collaboration among teams and agency partners when needed to solution for book rolls, scripts, etc. Provide customizable solutions as needed.
Scope data, including identifying issues and working with the resources and clients on resolution plans.
Service as a consultative source to our agency partners and the field related to vendor products, tools, solutions, hardware software, etc.
Engage the teams on collaborative opportunities to improve system solutioning, consensus, functionality, performance, and adoption.
Responsible for engagement of cross-functional business teams, including the Integration and Support teams to evaluate product and solution viability, configurations, testing, success during the development, implementation, and maintenance of the solutions.
Ensuring the development, alignment, and consensus related to application solutions and strategies are met.
Responsible for analyzing customer needs and requirements through strategic discovery, including industry best practices, and then delivering a technical solution that meets or exceeds the business need – including non-functional specifications, 3rd party requirements, and delivers the documented business value.
Accomplished technology solutions manager with a proven track record delivering large scale business transformation projects to drive efficiency and adoption of Applied Epic products and API’s.
Communicate concisely and influence outcomes. Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Must be able to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Applied Epic insurance (AMS) software (SaaS) required.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and anticipate solutions.
Experience in policy lifecycle management of products.
Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Professional, organized, and strong communicator. Must be able to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to all levels of the organization.
Competent with collaboration tools such as WebEx, Zoom or Teams
Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Willing to travel up to 20% domestically over the course of the year.
Education/Experience:
5+ years of Applied Epic management system experience.
3+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
P & C insurance licensed preferred.
Verifiable experience with insurance agency management system product implementation, support, optimization.
Experience in Accounting, Finance, Planning or Operational Leadership preferred.
Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
College degree preferred. Master’s degree a plus.
