Job Summary:
The Customer Support Representative (CSR) primarily supports the AAS Account Management organization with group insurance renewals and quotes as well as other administrative support functions designed to improve customer data quality, communication, and overall customer engagement for the micro and small market group insurance segment (<25 employees).

Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers, Team Leader and peer CSR’s with renewals, quotes, carrier and customer communication and related activities

  • Collect missing information from customers, carriers, and other partners as appropriate

  • Maintain customer information in Agency Management System (AMS)

  • Complete weekly customer AMS workflow and related activities

  • Update policy information, rates and census data in Benefit Administration Platform and AMS

  • Follow up on service issues and coordinate customer response

  • Prepare employee communications for renewals and enrollment period

  • Update census and plan features

  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently and within a team environment

  • Familiarity with AMS or similar customer relationship management software

  • Embraces customer success and demonstrates a “can do attitude”

  • Demonstrates attention to detail and strong organizational skills while working in fast-paced environment

  • Can manage multi customer related activities simultaneously

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 2 years insurance experience, group insurance preferred

  • Familiarity with AMS or related CRM tools and proficient with MS Office products

  • Positive track record working in customer service
