Job Summary:

The Platform Technology Director will provide leadership and guidance for an Acrisure insurance platform's technology strategy and operations. A platform is the combination of multiple insurance agencies into one larger operation. This key role is responsible for identifying and implementing long-range goals to increase accuracy, gain workload capacity, and create cost saving while becoming a more technology enabled company.

Essential Duties:

  • Strategy – Full understanding of the Technology program, portfolio & activities in accordance with the mission and goals of Acrisure and alignment of partner needs.

  • Integration – Assist in the assessment and integration of Agency Partners and acquisitions that leads to a mature and efficient run state.

  • Line of Business Support – Understand business and revenue model end-to-end, which includes system alignment and optimization, both current and post integration run state.

  • Change Management – Understand and deploy organizational change management concepts as they relate to the integration and technology change inherent in system conversions.

  • Risk Management – Work with Cyber security to analyze current risk state and assist to optimize risk management.

  • Service Management – Review and analyze support service preformed to determine trends and deploy tailored solutions.

  • Financial Management – Analyze current financial run state and uncover opportunities for ROI as well as advise on partner budget needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate team members of diverse technical background on technical topics and Acrisure systems including ownership over development and deployment of technology training.

  • Collaboration with platform executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals. Responsible for the development and execution of the platform's technology strategy within the Platform through optimization and utilization of Acrisure resources.

  • Lead a highly collaborative effort to deliver on initiatives to maximize value across Acrisure, provide strategic alignment across all teams, and drive improvement over leveraged services.

  • Identify areas of impact related to platform's technology, systems, and data for any change. Lead relevant organizational change management and project management as needed.

  • Coordinate between project teams, leadership, internal and external resources, and end-users to support successful product implementations, agency integrations, and platform optimization initiatives. Partner to design and deploy tailored workflows, automations, processes, project plans, as one team. Reconnect to provide feedback to as business needs evolve.

  • Manage Platform Technology Budget. Analyze current financial run state and uncover opportunities for ROI as well as advise on partner budget needs.

  • Oversee and assist in the recruit, interview, hire, and training of Platform Technology Team, day-to-day department platform operations and staff. Ensure all standard operating procedures and associated documents are up to date and effective.

  • Review and analyze IT services leveraged to determine trends and deploy tailored solutions. Manage escalated issues, working collectively on all trends with the capability to suggest solutions to cases that impact broader groups of customers.

  • Work with the Cyber Security team to ensure compliance and protection of the organizations data, systems, and assets by analyzing current risk state and optimizing risk management.

  • Contribute to a growing knowledge base with the intention of assisting others through creation of resource guides and process documentation.

  • Coordinate innovation efforts on behalf of the Platform and lead technological transformation efforts.

Education/Experience:

  • 7+ years of Technology experience within a complex IT environment with 3+ years of leadership/managerial experience.

Desired:

  • Understanding of Insurance business operations and revenue cycle.

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an Information Technology emphasis strongly preferred.

  • Project management certifications and/or focus on Agile concepts.

  • ITIL certification

  • Applied Epic and Workday experience
