Job Title: Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

As our business continues to grow, we are hiring an experienced Personal Lines CSR to join our close-knit, dynamic team.

You must possess excellent written and verbal skills to uphold the company’s professional image. Personal Lines CSR Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and renewing lines of coverage

  • Cross selling lines of coverage

  • Assisting clients with billing, claims and coverage questions

  • Utilize comparative rater to provide quote options to Insured

  • Checking policies for accuracy, updating and documenting management system as needed

  • Processing endorsements and cancellations

  • Working renewal reports

  • Assists agents as needed

Requirements:

  • Current Michigan P & C insurance license required; L&H preferred

  • EPIC, or similar agency management software experience, preferred

  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required

  • Some college, preferred

  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience, required

  • Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
