Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Thorough Configuration Audits: Perform exhaustive audits of switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, remote access systems, wireless systems, and internet connections.
  • Master Network Detection and Response: Take charge of the triage and tuning of the Network Detection and Response platform, demonstrating exceptional skills and commitment.
  • Forge Strong Partnerships: Actively collaborate with the Network Operations team to cultivate a secure and robust network environment.
  • Implement Network Segmentation: Drive effective network segmentation and controls across diverse networks and systems, ensuring a heightened level of security.
  • Monitor Public IPs: Proactively oversee public IPs for potential exposure, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations, thereby mitigating potential risks.
  • Engage with IT Integrations Team: Work seamlessly with the IT Integrations team to identify and seal any network security gaps.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Distinguished Professional: 3+ years of network administration experience, demonstrating skills including, but not limited to, firewall rule implementation, router maintenance, and updates.
  • Proficiency in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a plus.
  • Network Security: Proven experience with IDS/IPS, Firewall, Web Proxy, DNS, Load Balancing, Wireless and Remote Connectivity
  • Expertise in Infrastructure Security: In-depth understanding of infrastructure security, including Windows, Active Directory, Unix/Linux, Mobile Security, and Privileged Access Management.
  • Network Segmentation Specialist: Sound knowledge of network segmentation strategies and implementation.
  • Bold Innovator: A readiness to challenge the status quo and drive innovative solutions.
