About Us:

Gibson Insurance Group Inc. is looking for an individual to join our staff. Risk Management is the fastest growing and one of the most important areas in farming. These products include, but are not limited to crop insurance, revenue protection, crop-hail coverage, supplemental coverage options, livestock risk (price) protection, and pasture, rangeland and forage coverage.

Job Summary:

The individual hired will need to be able to work with lending institutions, government officials, and producers. Good communication and listening skills are vital for success in this position. This person must be self-motivated and keep abreast of all the new areas and changes in agriculture. Knowledge of the economics and marketing associated with production agriculture will also be needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contacting and gathering information from farmers

• Data entry on a computer

• Answering phone calls

• Assisting walk-in clients

• Perform other tasks or projects as needed/assigned

This position is a processing and full-time office position.

Education/Experience:

• Basic computer skills

• Practical working knowledge of Agriculture required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong organization, verbal, and written skills
